Software Development Engineer I

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Development Engineer I (Front-end).

Key Responsibilities

• Write and maintain quality software, implementing client-side code under guidance
• Participate in code reviews, incorporating feedback and documenting work clearly
• Contribute to team efforts by providing honest task estimates and communicating progress effectively

Required Qualifications

• 0-2 years of professional software development experience, including internships or significant project work
• Foundational knowledge of JavaScript (and/or TypeScript) with basic proficiency in HTML and CSS
• Familiarity with at least one modern JavaScript framework or library (e.g., React, Ember)
• Basic understanding of core software development principles and exposure to responsive web interfaces
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and some exposure to Agile development processes
