Software Development Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Dev Engineer II - Backend/Data.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement reusable frameworks, libraries, and product features in collaboration with stakeholders
• Ingest and validate data from various sources into Big Data systems and support automated ETL pipelines
• Troubleshoot production support issues and mentor junior engineers within the team

Required Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Three years of related industry experience
• Experience in back-end programming languages such as Java, Python, and Node.js
• Familiarity with database technologies and large scale databases
• Knowledge of Unix (Linux) platforms and experience with Hadoop and related tools
