Software Development Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Dev Engineer II - Backend/Data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement reusable frameworks, libraries, and Java components in collaboration with stakeholders
• Ingest data from various sources into Hadoop and support the delivery of an automated ETL pipeline
• Troubleshoot production support issues and mentor junior engineers within the team

Required Qualifications:

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Three years of related industry experience
• Experience in back-end programming languages such as Java, JS, Python, and ETL tools
• Familiarity with database technologies and large-scale databases
• Knowledge of Unix (Linux) platforms and experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools
