Software Development Engineer in Test

Job Summary

As a full-time Software Development Engineer in Test focused on geospatial applications, the remote position will implement strategies to enhance release integrity, validate spatial algorithms, and develop internal tools to improve software quality and delivery efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Implement strategies to improve release integrity through automation in CI/CD pipelines and validation processes
• Validate spatial algorithms, data accuracy, and system performance within the mapping platform
• Drive internal tooling initiatives to enhance the developer experience and enable higher confidence in testing and shipping software

Required qualifications

• Strong technical foundation in release management, automation frameworks, and CI/CD systems
• 2+ years of experience in building and maintaining test automation for complex applications using languages such as C++/C#, GD Script, or Python
• Proven experience with shift-left quality practices that enhance code quality and deployment confidence
• Hands-on experience with performance, resilience, and security testing integrated into CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in algorithmic validation, including testing route optimization and spatial clustering for accuracy in applications
