Software Development Engineer in Test

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive end-to-end test automation for financial trading platforms
• Build robust test frameworks using Cypress or Playwright
• Partner with developers and product teams to ensure features meet the needs of financial traders

Required Qualifications & Key Competencies

• 4+ years of experience in test automation focused on web applications
• Strong hands-on experience with Cypress or Playwright for end-to-end testing
• Solid programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with monitoring and synthetic testing tools, preferably Datadog
• Understanding of the reliability needs of financial trading systems
