Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with teams to understand software requirements and functional behavior of algorithms
Create and execute automated test strategies/plans for bioinformatics workflows and containerized builds
Document formal software test outcomes and assist with debugging issues discovered during tests

Required Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience in software verification testing for bioinformatics or related fields
Proficiency in Python or other coding languages
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field
Experience with IEC 62304 and associated design controls
Familiarity with NextFlow, AWS, and gitLab is strongly preferred
