Software Development Engineer in Test

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) for a full-time remote position, where the candidate will design and enhance test automation frameworks, write production-quality test code, and collaborate with development teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build robust, scalable test automation frameworks for various testing types including web, API, and mobile
• Write automated test code using languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#, and implement contract testing in microservice ecosystems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality risks and drive continuous improvement in test coverage and reliability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of experience as an SDET or in test-focused software engineering roles
• Strong programming skills in at least one of Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#
• Hands-on experience with major UI automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• Solid experience automating REST and/or gRPC APIs and working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
