Software Development Engineer in Test

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) for a full-time remote position, where the candidate will design and build automation frameworks, write production-quality test code, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance quality engineering throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build robust, scalable test automation frameworks for various testing types including web, API, and mobile
• Write production-quality automated test code using languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C# with frameworks like Selenium or Cypress
• Lead test strategy discussions and collaborate closely with developers and product owners to identify quality risks early

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of experience as an SDET or in test-focused software engineering roles
• Strong programming skills in at least one of Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#
• Hands-on experience with a major UI automation framework (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for test automation
