Software Development Engineer in Test

Job Summary

Collaborating closely with software development teams, the long-term contract Software Development Engineer in Test will design, develop, and maintain automated and manual tests for autonomous software systems in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using various tools and technologies
• Collaborate with project teams to define test strategies and create comprehensive test cases
• Execute manual and automated tests to verify functional, performance, and reliability requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 1-3 years (SDET 1), 3-7 years (SDET 2), or 7+ years (SDET 3) of software testing/development experience
• Proficiency with test case management tools such as JIRA or TestRail
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JMeter, or similar
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or C#
