Software Development Engineer in Test

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time remote Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) will design and improve automation frameworks, write production-quality test code, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable test automation frameworks for web, API, mobile, and microservice testing
• Write automated test code in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C# using frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• Lead test strategy discussions and mentor junior QA engineers to uphold engineering rigor in testing practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of experience as an SDET or in test-focused software engineering roles
• Strong programming skills in at least one of Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#
• Hands-on experience with major UI automation frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress
• Solid experience automating REST and/or gRPC APIs
