Software Development Engineer in Test

Job Summary

Working remotely as a contract Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), the candidate will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using TypeScript and Playwright, while collaborating with the IT Quality Assurance team in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to translate feature requirements into functional automated test scripts
• Integrate automated test scripts into CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Monitor and report on key testing metrics to the team and stakeholders

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline AND 4 years of technical engineering experience with Playwright-based automation, or 6 years of relevant experience without a degree
• Experience using Azure DevOps or similar platforms for managing source code and test pipelines
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and basic Scrum principles
• Basic experience in TypeScript programming for test automation using Playwright framework
• Experience using Visual Studio Code and knowledge of testing processes and best practices
