Software Development Engineer in Test

Job Summary

Collaborating with teams and progressively working independently, the full-time Software Development Engineer in Test I will design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software products, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and execute manual and automated tests to support product quality and reliability
• Create test plans and perform functional, exploratory, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Maintain and enhance automated tests while developing automation and quality engineering skills

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in software design, development, testing, or quality engineering
• Demonstrated ability to write, read, debug, and maintain code using Java, C#, or a similar programming language
• Foundational understanding of software development methodologies, testing principles, and quality assurance practices
• Familiarity with modern testing tools and automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress
