Software Development Engineer in Test

Job Summary

To ensure the highest standards of quality in software applications, the full-time remote Software Development Engineer in Test will develop and maintain automated test frameworks, collaborate with development teams to resolve issues, and participate in the full software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for software validation across various platforms
• Collaborate with software developers to identify and resolve defects during the testing process
• Execute test cases and perform regression testing while creating and maintaining test documentation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Three or more years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test or a similar role
• Proficiency with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Appium, JUnit, Cucumber)
• Experience with CI/CD processes and familiarity with agile frameworks
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, TypeScript)
