Software Development Engineer in Test

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Software Development Engineer in Test will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python, enhance automated test frameworks, and support continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with Agile development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated test scripts to ensure application quality
• Build and enhance automated test frameworks for functional, integration, and regression testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality through continuous testing

Required qualifications

• Strong programming experience in Python with a focus on automation
• Hands-on experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment
• Proficiency with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, NUnit, xUnit, and pytest
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and web socket communication protocols
• Experience testing applications deployed in Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments
