Software Development Engineer in Test

Job Summary

Owning significant parts of the test infrastructure, the full-time Software Development Engineer in Test will architect and implement test frameworks, drive quality strategies, and mentor junior engineers in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement test frameworks and infrastructure, making architectural decisions on test design patterns
• Design testing strategies for new features, integrating testing earlier in the development lifecycle through collaboration
• Refactor and optimize existing test suites for maintainability and performance, improving CI/CD pipeline performance

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience with Playwright and object-oriented test framework design
• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and strong understanding of software design principles
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and CI/CD optimization
• Expert-level knowledge of Git and distributed version control workflows
• Advanced reporting skills and experience with test infrastructure architecture
