Software Development Engineer in Test

Job Summary

To ensure the quality and performance of web applications, the full-time remote Software Development Engineer in Test will validate new features across frontend and backend systems, design comprehensive test strategies, and automate testing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Validate new features and ensure quality across both frontend and backend systems
• Design and implement comprehensive test strategies, including automation where necessary
• Collaborate closely with developers throughout the software development lifecycle

Required qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience in Software Development Engineering for Test (SDET) for web applications
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript
• Significant experience writing and maintaining automated tests using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
• Experience testing web UIs and REST APIs
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
