Software Development Engineer in Test

Job Summary

Owning significant parts of the test infrastructure, the full-time Software Development Engineer in Test will design testing approaches for complex features, mentor junior engineers, and drive quality strategy across the engineering team in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement test frameworks and infrastructure while making architectural decisions about test design patterns
• Design testing strategies for new features and integrate testing earlier in the development lifecycle through cross-team collaboration
• Refactor and optimize existing test suites for maintainability and performance, and improve CI/CD pipeline performance

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience with Playwright and object-oriented test framework design
• Advanced TypeScript skills and strong understanding of software design principles
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and CI/CD optimization
• Expert-level knowledge of Git and distributed version control workflows
• Advanced reporting skills and experience with test infrastructure performance optimization
