Software Development Engineer in Test

Job Summary

Owning quality and reliability for assigned product areas, the full-time remote Software Development Engineer in Test will design and implement automated test frameworks, build scalable test automation infrastructure, and leverage AI-assisted tools to enhance testing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test frameworks across APIs, backend services, and UI components
• Build and maintain scalable test automation infrastructure integrated into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality feedback
• Partner with engineering and product teams to define testable requirements and identify quality risks early in the development lifecycle

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience as an SDET, QA engineer, or software developer with a strong focus on test automation
• Strong proficiency in Python or a comparable programming language
• Demonstrated experience designing automated test frameworks across APIs, backend systems, and UI
• Hands-on experience with tools such as PyTest, Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
