Software Development Engineer in Test

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET/Playwright) to develop test cases, conduct testing, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure high-quality software applications, with the flexibility to work remotely or from an office.

Key responsibilities

• Create test plans and conduct testing to assess the impact of changes
• Develop automated tests from manual test cases using modern frameworks
• Collaborate with architecture and software development teams to maintain quality as products evolve

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with automated testing using object-oriented programming
• Strong working knowledge of the Playwright automated testing tool
• Practical experience with automated testing across UI and/or API layers
• Experience with query languages (e.g., SQL, GQL)
• Ability to develop test strategies and quality gating within CI/CT/CD pipelines
