Job Summary

Leading a team of talented engineers, the full-time remote Software Development Lead (C++) will manage and mentor developers, shape technical direction, and contribute to the design and implementation of a Chromium-based browser.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coach a team of Software Developers, fostering talent growth and career advancement
• Contribute directly to software development, including design, implementation, debugging, and code review
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical plans align with user and business needs

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, particularly in C++, Objective-C, or similar languages
• 3+ years of experience leading or managing software developers, focusing on coaching and team health
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented design and maintainable system design
• Experience with large, complex codebases requiring good judgment and attention to detail
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
