Software Development Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Development Manager, Design System.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team of front-end developers and SDETs
• Define the technical strategy and architecture for the design system's component offering
• Own sprint execution and delivery, balancing feature work with technical debt

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, preferably computer science, math, or statistics
• Minimum of eight years of related programming or testing experience, including one year in a supervisory or management role
• Demonstrated mastery of modern front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React)
• 5+ years leading development of component-based architectures or design system libraries at scale
• Success in driving accessibility compliance and enforcing engineering best practices
