Software Development Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Development Manager to oversee application development efforts within the organization's software portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the software development lifecycle for departmental projects, including design, development, and maintenance
• Supervise and mentor a team of Developers, ensuring effective knowledge distribution and project delivery
• Resolve complex technical issues and provide data and reports to senior management as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum seven years of experience in software/web development, with at least two years in a supervisory role
• Proficient in Javascript/JQuery, AJAX/JSON, and REST API development
• Advanced SQL and debugging skills
• Experience with Test Driven or Behavior Driven Development Methodologies
