Software Development Manager
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Manager 2, Software Development & Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise software engineers in planning, designing, and developing embedded software and web applications
- Lead development on open source RDK middleware embedded system projects and manage overall delivery of RDK Core Middleware
- Run monthly governance sessions with Business and Engineering leadership to highlight achievements, risks, and dependencies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- Seven years of experience in leading development on open source RDK middleware embedded system projects
- Experience with software development tools including Atlassian Jira, Microsoft Project, and Jenkins
- Five years of experience with Linux operating systems and developing embedded systems
- Three years of experience using TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS for network communication and design
