Software Development Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time remote Software Development Manager will oversee a Product Oriented Development (POD) team, ensuring the timely delivery of scalable and secure software solutions while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of software developed by the POD, ensuring timely releases that meet business requirements and quality standards
• Partner with business owners to define priorities and align deliverables with strategic objectives
• Lead, mentor, and inspire the POD team, promoting accountability and continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or equivalent work experience
• 8+ years of progressive experience in software development with a proven leadership track record
• Strong expertise in software development methodologies, especially agile/Scrum
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Familiarity with cloud-first, API-first, and microservice architectures, preferably with AWS
