Software Development Manager

Job Summary

Leading a remote engineering team, the full-time Software Development Manager will oversee the software development lifecycle for cloud services, ensuring high-quality delivery of customer-facing features and platform infrastructure while actively participating in architecture discussions and technical decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of software engineers focused on cloud services and infrastructure improvements
• Manage the software development lifecycle, collaborating with QA and release teams for testing and delivery
• Champion the use of AI-assisted development tools and continuously improve team productivity through refined processes

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering management experience in cloud infrastructure, SaaS, or platform engineering
• Proven ability to manage distributed, remote engineering teams and effective async communication
• Strong background in software engineering with expertise in system architecture
• Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle from design to production support
• Experience collaborating with Product Management to translate priorities into engineering plans
