Software Development Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of developers and quality assurance professionals, the full-time Software Development Manager will oversee the development of healthcare software products, ensuring quality and innovation in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct technical supervision and mentorship to development teams, including hiring, goal tracking, and performance reviews
• Assist the Technical Product Owner in delivering and architecting HIS grouping content across existing and new technology stacks
• Set technical direction and prioritize the development team's backlog in collaboration with Tech Leads

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Information Systems from an accredited university
• Five (5) years of software development experience
• Three (3) years of team leadership experience (supervisor, manager, team lead)
• Experience with Java software development and Agile methodology
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and web application development (SOAP/REST, Javascript/Angular)
