Software Development Manager

Job Summary

Leading a senior engineering team in a remote full-time capacity, the Software Development Manager will drive the development of platform capabilities, enhance developer experience, and influence platform strategy to support scalable, high-quality solutions in a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support a solution engineering team focused on reusable libraries and platform enablement across product teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish shared standards and coordinate the adoption of platform solutions
• Champion secure application development practices and manage complex production issues while supporting initiative planning

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience with technical leadership across multiple teams
• Proven ability to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade software in distributed or cloud-hosted environments
• Strong hands-on experience with backend and frontend technologies such as C#/.NET and RESTful APIs
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
