Software Development Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Software Development Manager, the full-time remote position will lead a team of engineers in building and maintaining applications for Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Customer Experience, while actively participating in architecture, design, and coding tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers while driving agile development practices
- Partner with stakeholders to define priorities and participate in architecture and technical design decisions
- Manage sprint planning, capacity planning, and ensure code quality and performance standards are met
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with a strong hands-on coding background in Java, TypeScript, Node.js, and SQL
- 2+ years of people management experience leading Agile development teams
- Experience building and supporting cloud-based applications, APIs, and scalable distributed systems
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Experience in mentoring engineers and fostering a collaborative engineering culture
