Software Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and maintaining data ingestion pipelines, the full-time temporary Software Engineer in Data Engineering will work remotely to develop SQL Server-based and API-based data pipelines, troubleshoot production incidents, and contribute to system design decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data ingestion pipelines and synchronization processes
• Develop and support SQL Server-based and API-based data pipelines for centralized data platforms
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, ensuring data quality and pipeline reliability

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5-10 years of experience with SQL and SQL Server, including query tuning and performance troubleshooting
• Familiarity with AWS data services such as S3, Lambda, and Glue
• Experience in designing and operating ETL/ELT pipelines within a data lake or data warehouse ecosystem
• Hands-on experience with SSIS-based data movement pipelines
