Job Summary
A company is looking for a Software Engineer (Ruby/Rails) to join their engineering team in building and improving their platform for threat detection and response.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the engineering team to build, test, and refine the product suite
- Write and maintain code, addressing bugs, new features, and enhancements
- Work with product management and design teams to enhance product offerings
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of software engineering experience
- Proficient in Ruby on Rails and familiar with libraries such as RSpec and Sidekiq
- Experience with Javascript, HAML, Redis, Postgres, AWS, Docker, or similar technologies
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation within the Engineering department
- Deep knowledge of operating Postgres at scale, including replication, monitoring, and optimization
