Software Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Software Engineer for a remote long-term contract position.
Key Responsibilities
- Designs, codes, tests, and debugs applications and components to meet technical specifications and business requirements
- Collaborates with stakeholders and product owners to develop and refine business requirements into technical solutions
- Mentors junior software engineers and performs code reviews while ensuring operational excellence in production services
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field, or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- 2+ years of experience in full lifecycle software development projects in an agile environment
- Hands-on technical expertise in building web applications and RESTful web services
- Experience with MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or similar relational database management systems, and .NET Core or similar object-oriented programming languages
- Familiarity with Angular, React, or other JavaScript frameworks/libraries
