Job Summary
A company is looking for a Software Engineer to support the NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information.
Key Responsibilities
- Steward the nation's environmental data archive
- Extract requirements and develop, test, and debug Python code in AWS Cloud9
- Build patterns and templates in Amazon SageMaker AI
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of programming experience, or an associate degree with 6+ years of programming experience, or 8+ years of programming experience
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Experience with cloud infrastructures, especially AWS and Cloud9
- Familiarity with Agile/SAFe Scrum methodologies
- An understanding of scientific data formats and related metadata formats
