Software Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Software Engineer to join their CFTC Data Engineering and Processing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducts research in design, development, testing, and utilization of software
- Analyzes user needs and software requirements to ensure feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
- Participates in database planning and design, and provides implementation support for data/records management
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience or Master's degree in relevant fields with 6 years of experience
- Must be a US Citizen
- At least five years of experience in financial services related to CFTC regulated entities or US federal agencies
- Experience with SQL, Python, and data visualization tools
- Familiarity with large databases and ETL processes
