Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for all phases of agile software development life cycle from software design through customer support
• Perform competitive analysis of other database systems and data integration solutions, providing recommendations for improvements
• Design, implement, validate, and test new database and query optimization features, along with functional and performance analysis of code defects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline with at least three years of relevant experience, or a Master's Degree in the same field
• Top-notch programming skills in C++, Java, Python, R, and SQL
• Experience in system development and debugging complex software in a parallel processing environment
• Familiarity with various database technologies and Agile software development methods
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals in object-oriented design and design patterns
