Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer, UCC.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform updates to the UCC codebase to support product requirements
• Participate in the agile development process
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure correct pull-through of new assets or changes to assets

Required Qualifications

• Experience designing APIs for web application development
• Experience optimizing data retrieval processes in a low query volume/high data volume environment
• Demonstrably deep experience with Python
• Experience with big data processing through a modern MPP database like Snowflake
• Understanding of non-functional concerns such as performance and maintainability
