Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer for a 5+ month contract role.

Key Responsibilities

• Works throughout the software development life cycle to create, design, code, debug, maintain, test, implement, and validate applications
• Analyzes existing applications and formulates logic for new applications, including coding and debugging programs
• Recommends changes in development, maintenance, and system standards while creating deliverables and implementation plans

Required Qualifications

• Experience as an application developer with Cobol and Mainframe
• Proficient in analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of complex projects
• Familiarity with JIRA and Agile methodologies is preferred
• Must be located in the EST time zone
• Contract position for a duration of 5+ months
