Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer, Search and Discovery Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Build services and infrastructure for advanced recommendation systems and real-time dynamic feeds
• Create a scalable, stable, low latency discovery experience
• Collaborate with machine learning, platform, and product engineering teams to address discovery challenges

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or related technical field
• Experience in building and scaling platforms for high volume applications
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and managed services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)
• Proficiency in at least one server-side programming language (preferably Python)
