Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer & Open Source Contributor (remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Work with senior developers to learn best practices and modern development techniques
• Engage with open source communities to build relationships and contribute to software solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate open source contributions into products and services

Required Qualifications

• Experience in software development with a focus on Python and/or Golang
• Strong interest in open source best practices, including code quality and documentation
• Willingness to learn about cloud-native architectures and distributed systems
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for deploying microservices
• Participation in open source projects as a contributor or maintainer is highly desirable
