Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer (Navigate) to build technology that supports student graduation in higher education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with development managers and stakeholders to clarify business requirements and implement solutions
• Design, plan, and deliver features while serving as a subject matter expert on system components
• Support operations by resolving performance issues and coordinating with other teams for a smooth development process

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent experience with 2+ years of software development experience, or a Master's Degree with 1+ year of experience
• Proven development experience with Ruby on Rails
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineers and product management teams
• Experience with large volumes of data
• Hands-on experience developing web applications using HTML/CSS/JavaScript
