Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer focused on the development and optimization of SmartTV applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SmartTV applications using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
• Implement responsive, high-performance UIs optimized for various living room device constraints
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA to ship new features and improve user experience

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in front-end development, with at least 2+ years in SmartTV app development
• Deep expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
• Familiarity with device constraints and optimization techniques for performance and memory
• Experience working with video playback technologies, DRM, and streaming formats (HLS, DASH) is a strong plus
• BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
