Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer 2 to manage major incidents and ensure the reliability of their services.

Key Responsibilities

Continuously monitor the health of critical services to identify and address potential issues
Collaborate with teams to develop solutions for high site availability, reliability, and performance
Act as Incident Commander to drive resolution of major incidents and manage alarms

Required Qualifications

BSCS or related 4-year technical degree
3 years of experience in large-scale internet/server environments, including cloud computing
Experience with software engineering skills including Java, Python, or GO
Expert knowledge in large-scale web operations and UNIX/Linux environments
Experience with observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus
