Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer to strengthen and extend the systems that support its learners and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the Ruby on Rails application used by learners, coaches, and staff
• Develop and maintain integrations with systems such as Salesforce and Canvas
• Participate in planning and design discussions for upcoming systems and integrations

Required Qualifications

• 2-5 years of software engineering experience building and maintaining production web applications
• Experience with Ruby on Rails or another modern web framework
• Familiarity with Postgres and background job frameworks
• Comfort working with REST APIs and data integrations
• Experience successfully pushing new features and bug fixes to production systems
