Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer to lead the modernization of a retirement plan administration system.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and document a complex VB6 codebase for retirement plan administration
Refactor and optimize legacy code into modern architectures using VB.NET or C#
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business rules into maintainable code

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of professional software development experience
Proficiency in VB.NET and/or C#, with knowledge of .NET Framework or .NET Core
Experience in large-scale codebase refactoring and system migration projects
Solid understanding of software engineering best practices
Experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server)
