Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer to join their Azure Data engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop features for operational databases, focusing on query engine, index structures, and storage layouts
• Work across PostgreSQL and Mongo compatible systems in a geo-distributed engineering team
• Build mission-critical operational databases with a focus on modern, document-oriented, AI-first workloads

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• Ability to meet security screening requirements upon hire and every two years thereafter
• Strong C/C++ programming skills and experience with algorithms
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL database engines
