Software Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Software Engineer to join the VMScaleSet Core team, focusing on building and evolving the foundational infrastructure for scalable compute offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to determine user requirements for various scenarios
- Lead the identification of dependencies and develop design documents for products and services
- Mentor others to produce extensible and maintainable code while monitoring system performance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline with proven coding experience in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience
- Ability to meet security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field with coding experience is preferred
- Experience with Azure SDKs and REST APIs is advantageous
- Understanding of compute orchestration and service reliability is beneficial
