Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer to contribute to the development of cloud-based database systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Participates in all stages of the cloud offering lifecycle, including research, development, testing, and deployment
• Designs and builds high-performance algorithms for placement and load balancing in operational databases
• Collaborates with research teams to implement innovative solutions in the Azure SQL DB environment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• Ability to meet security screening requirements upon hire and every two years thereafter
• Extensive systems engineering skills, particularly in unmanaged code like C++
• Background in algorithms, especially search space traversal and pruning
