Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for Software Engineers / Research Software Developers (two openings).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve core systems and develop REST APIs and backend services
• Build interactive tools for scientific data publication and discovery
• Collaborate closely with scientists and external partners on research-driven features

Required Qualifications

• 4-Year degree in computer science, engineering, hydrology, earth science, or a related field
• Demonstrated programming experience, preferably in Python
• Experience with modern web development frameworks and cloud-based deployments
• Ability to work collaboratively in shared codebases
• Interest in open science and open-source software
