Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer to join their Extensible Operating System (EOS) software development team remotely in Hungary, Romania, Greece, or Spain.

Key Responsibilities

• Write functional and design specifications for features related to internet traffic and cloud data centers
• Independently implement solutions and write test plans for EOS software using C and C++
• Collaborate with customer support and system test engineers to debug and fix problems in customer networks and internal tests

Required Qualifications

• BSc, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering with 5+ years of related experience
• Proficiency in C and/or C++ programming languages
• Knowledge of UNIX or Linux operating systems
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including L2 and L3 capabilities
• Experience in mentoring junior engineers
