Software Engineer 3

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer 3, Online Archive.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, architect, build, and deliver core pieces of Atlas Online Archive, primarily coding in Java, Go & JavaScript (React)
• Approach problems from a customer-focused perspective and use data to propose high ROI improvements
• Collaborate with colleagues and other teams to scope, spec, and deliver new features

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, focused on cloud-native backend systems
• B.Sc / M.Sc in Computer Science or similar field, or equivalent practical experience
• Proficient in a modern compiled programming language (Go, Java, C#, C++, etc.)
• Experience implementing and operating distributed storage systems with high availability and durability guarantees
• Self-starter with a passion for problem-solving and learning in computer science and software engineering
