Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer to join their Extensible Operating System (EOS) software development team remotely in Hungary, Romania, Greece, or Spain.

Key Responsibilities

• Write functional and design specifications for features related to traffic forwarding in cloud data centers
• Implement solutions and automated test programs for small-sized problems in EOS software using C and C++
• Collaborate with Customer Support and System Test Engineers to analyze and resolve network issues

Required Qualifications

• BSc, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in C and/or C++ programming languages
• Familiarity with UNIX or Linux operating systems
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including L2 and L3
• Experience in software development and debugging within a team environment
